Band Info

Uttu Aavas is a composer and multi-instrumentalist from Finland.

The ensemble is also named - UTTU , which stands for:

* Utuinen Taival Tähtiyön Unessa *   (in Finish Language)

(Misty path in stellar-night dream)
 

The music of UTTU combines the styles of Progressive, Ambient and World Music.

After playing many years in progressive bands and performing live at clubs,
Aavas started composing the music project named Starlight Origin in 2003.
The Starlight Origin album was recorded between the years 2004 and 2006
at Uttu Music Studio.

The album was performed to a live audience
at the Premiere Night, 1. of December 2006
at Uittamo's indoor swimming pool, Turku, Finland.
The music was performed by the water with an exotic visuals.

Starlight Origin is a project combining music and visual art,
inspired by the Space, Nature and Fantasy.

Uttu Aavas plays guitars, keyboards, flutes and ethnic percussions.
Vocals are performed by Luisa Dovalo.
Backing vocals by Ninni.

L.Jay operates with the electronic goodies and FXs on live shows.
