Released on 25/10/10. Kuckuck was responsible for releasing many great albums in Germany in the early 1970s, including those by the wonderful Out Of Focus. Featuring Moran Neumuller (vocals, sax, flute), Remigus Dreschler (guitar), Hennes Hering (keyboards), Stephan Wisheu (bass) and Klaus Spori (drums), this legendary Munich based band were contemporaries of acts such as Amon Duul II and recorded three classic and highly collectable albums for the label.
The double set Four Letter Monday Afternoon was the band’s final album and saw Out OF Focus Look towards acts such as Soft Machine for inspiration for their most Jazz influenced work. The album saw the band augmented by a brass section and was dominated by the lengthy Huchen 55 which dominated both sides of the second LP in this set.
This re-mastered edition of FOUR Letter Monday Afternoon is an essential album for all lovers of the style known as Krautrock.
